Our Admissions Office will guide you through the following process to apply.
The first step is to submit an application. Please note, this is not a commitment on your part. You will need to complete our Application Form and pay the $100 Application Fee. Your application can either be:
- Submitted on the day of your initial visit (You can book a visit today!)
- Returned by e-mail, with the Application Fee paid online by credit card
In asking parents to bring their children for assessment, our aim is to establish how best we can meet a child’s learning needs. The assessment takes place by appointment, after the application has been received.
The assessment takes the form of a 60 minute ‘taster’ session in the classroom. This gives both you and the classroom teacher the chance to confirm that your son or daughter is happy and comfortable there.
For Elementary School:
Assessment takes the form of a verbal and written appraisal of your child’s English and/or Spanish language ability and some other academic areas.
For High School:
The assessment takes the form of an online cognitive ability, followed by a written English and/or Spanish test.
3. ACCEPTANCE AND GUARANTEE OF A PLACE
If you wish to accept the offer of a place at the school, we ask that you do so within two weeks of receiving the formal offer letter. Your child’s place will only be guaranteed if you have paid the $500 non-refundable enrollment fee within two weeks of being offered the place. Welcome to Sequoia Lake Schools!
